World Art Gallery is pleased to present a joint exhibition with more than 20 works 12 masters of the twentieth century in dialogue with artists whose works are found in the contemporary scene of the trans Italian figurative art and the neo. Love, death, desire, woman: the different subjects are dealt with in a poetic and evocative hour, hours irreverent and ironic. Mario Schifano from the trials of the monochrome décollage sovrappittura up sheet on Mimmo Rotella; by dada and surrealist collage to neo anarchist Enrico Baj figuration by Valerio Adami. All great masters are represented by the avant-garde, working in the late '50s and 2000, have developed unique styles and original fervor born, in the second half of the twentieth century, has seen several overlapping cultural and artistic movements: abstract, informal, dadaism, surrealism, pop art, graffitismo.
The enthusiasm and the revolutionary '60s Tuttestelle is felt in the work of Mario Schifano, mixed media on paper echoes the musical experience of the artist with the band The Stars Mario Schifano was born in 1967. Or will the nightmare of the police by Mimmo Rotella, decollage Sovrapitture on a sheet of metal that bears witness to an important stage in the production of the master Calabria, namely that opened in 1986 with painting on torn posters and pasted on canvas sheet. Two messages in one format. And then the neo-figurative style of Valerio Adami, the neo dada surreal Enrico Baj, the poetry of evocative images of Tadini. Big names side by side with artists such as logging and Lucio Del Pezzo, one of the founders of the Group 58 Naples, neosurrealista of inspiration and dada; Bruno Ceccobelli, that has developed an array of ready-made spiritual symbolism. There is no lack of abstraction of Veronesi and trans Spoldi.
A journey through time and then to understand the developments of the languages of Italian art from the '60s to the present day.
